VBS and Camp!

I can't believe a month has already flown by and we are only 2 weeks out from starting up classes again. In the month of December we had vacation Bible school for the kids and teenagers. This was a fun time to get to do more than just academics with the kids and spend time with them outside of school. We did crafts, games, and stories! 

I was also able to do a number of fun this in January such as celebrating my birthday, spending time with friends, and I also attended a young adults retreat through my international church! 

I went to summer camp at the end of January with a ministry called "Las Gradas". It was an amazing experience and really stretched me as the entire camp was in Spanish. Praise God I was able to communicate and speak with the girls, but my brain was dead by the end of the camp. I had 8 girls in my cabin and 7 of them accepted Christ during the camp. It is truly amazing how God worked in the hearts of the kids and continues to do so. I will have the opportunity to help some with this ministry throughout the year as well. I have a few photos I can share, but most I cannot post because of sensitivity to social media. ​​

Please continue to pray for me in this next year as I continue to build relationships with the kids and teach English. I am really excited for what God has in store for this next year!
