Education opens the door to a better future—but for many children in the community, it remains out of reach due to the cost of basic necessities like uniforms and transportation.

We provide students with the material things they need for school (uniforms, shoes, supplies, and bus fare); academic support through tutoring and focused classes in reading, math, and English; and social support through youth group, kids clubs, and vacation activities that provide safe spaces and healthy relationships.

The results speak for themselves: over 90% of our sponsored students successfully complete the school year and advance to the next grade level—a remarkable achievement in this neighborhood.

Adult Literacy:
From darkness to light

​The ability to read and write is foundational to full participation in modern life. Yet many adults in our community were never given that opportunity in their youth.

Through a six-month course that meets twice a week, our adult literacy program empowers learners with essential skills that offer growth personally, economically, and spiritually.

Our students gain empowering new abilities that expand their social and economic inclusion: sending text messages, understanding contracts and financial transactions, reading to their children and helping with their homework, and reading their Bible. Literacy also creates important pathways to meaningful employment and greater independence.
