Start of School!

March is the start of classes in Give Dignity! We prepped all of February and have had classes underway now and just about finished placement tests and the beginning of the year sort of stuff with all the kids. Our classes are all full again this year! Also, some of my advanced students had the opportunity to help the younger kids with their English homework and this was a really cool opportunity to see the older kids giving back and helping as they have been helped. It reminds me of this verse, Luke 6:31: "Do to others as you would have them do to you".

We had the opportunity to go to my International Church for International Day, which is something they do every year to celebrate the different cultures and countries represented in our church. They paid transportation for our students to come and enjoy this activity! We brought 13 of our High School kids and it was a great day! They got to do mechanical bull rides, eat food from other countries, spend time together, and hear about God in English! 

I was also able to go to Washington State for 2 weeks and visit my family for my cousin's wedding! It was a great time of catching up with everyone and I got to relax before the craziness of the year started! 

Beto and I worked on a project to build a table for my house! As furniture is very expensive here I am unable to purchase any really! But this was a great project and turned out awesome! We still have to stain it and do a few finishing touches but I super love it! 

Something exciting to announce is I am doing a FUNDRAISER this month for some items that are necessary but that I don't have enough money within my budget to purchase! I am in need of a few things and looking to raise money to purchase whatever the Lord provides! I have included about what the cost of each one is.
