August

August was a difficult month as I had a lot of work at the ministry and also with my 3 other jobs. I started to burn out a little so I took some Saturdays off to relax and be refilled by God. We continued to also have youth group, classes, and our Citizens of the Kingdom Club. Beto and I also went on a hike! 

September

In September Costa Rica celebrates their independence from Spain and we had a special youth group event with classic Costa Rican games, Bombas (this is like a play on words/pun), skits, and a special message from Luis!

My 1-3rd grade students got to write to their pen pals from Lighthouse Christian School! This is a school that has partnered with our class to write letters and then they have a tripped planned to meet each other and have a special activity in October! This is very sweet as my kids get to practice writing a letter in English and they are always very excited to hear back from their friends! 

October Fundraiser!! 

During the month of October I have a fundraiser that all funds during that time will be matched dollar for dollar up to $2,000! I am really working to hit this goal as it would help me to continue in the capacity that I currently am! I have been working a lot of extra hours with my other jobs to just survive and am in need of more funding or I might need to change my schedule some at the ministry! Of course everything is in God's hands and I believe HE will provide! But if YOU would like to be apart of what God is doing in these kids lives here is the link to donate!
